hok and tell at kansai rainbow festa

Haus of Kinki recently teamed up with TELL Japan to promote free advice and English services for mental health in Japan. Nikuman.co volunteered at TELL Japan`s Kansai Rainbow Festa booth this past weekend to promote TELL services to the international community. Assisted by Natto Maki and Fanny Fried Rice of Haus of Kinki, the booth was able to reach tourists and local international people living across Kansai.

TELL is a non-profit organisation which aims to provide support and access to services to the international community across Japan. It offers access to counselling, information on domestic violence, abuse and LGBTQIA+ issues. TELL also organises and attends events, the next being GAYMES: Drag Bingo by Haus of Kinki.

TELL and Haus of Kinki first came together after TELLs Kansai Co-ordinator Kulsoom Ahmad attended Haus of Kinki `s Kobe show, Be:Kinki in July 2023. There Kulsoom gave a short talk about TELL and its services to the Haus of Kinki audience. Through meetings with From there phone calls between Haus of Kinki `s Nikuman.co and TELL Development and Business Services Manager, Cole Garrett, Haus of Kinki and TELL became fast friends.

TELL Japan will have a regular feature in Haus of Kinki shows in the next coming months. Party-goers can look forward to mental health information and services promoted at the show.

Haus of Kinki`s next venture, GAYMES: Drag Bingo, will feature a talk and by Kulsoom and maybe even a performance. Get your tickets now to see the show.

If you are feeling alone and need to talk to somebody, or are looking for specific services to help deal with anxiety, depression or counselling, know tha you are not alone, reach out and TELL somebody.
